Who are we? What do we stand for? What are we trying to do?
These are some of the fundamental questions we’ve been asking ourselves over the last few months; and we’re delighted to announce that in answering these posers, we’ve produced our new mission statement and company values. Our mission statement explains where we want to get to as a business, and our values are the cornerstones of who we are, what we do and how we do it.

1. We’re proud and passionate about what we do.
2. We embrace diversity and treat everyone with respect and trust.
3. We always look to improve our products, services and ourselves.
4. We keep the customer at the heart of everything we do.
As individuals and as a company, we are a work progress. We live by the values above to lesser or greater extents currently, but, in line with Value 3, we always look to improve, and we’re committed as a team to cementing our values as the underlying influence in all our decisions. Indeed, this commitment is already being manifested in various areas. For example, we will now be considering the values in our assessment of potential new members of the DT family. We are also introducing Values in Action Awards.
These new awards allow anyone to nominate another member of the DT family who has gone above and beyond in demonstrating one of our values. The board will then decide on the winner, who’ll receive their award and a special thank you gift. We’ll be announcing our winners in our newsletters, so keep an eye out!
There’s plenty more exciting news to come on our values and mission over the next few months as we celebrate our people, our clients and our local area.
