New Edinburgh routes
Emirates are starting a daily service between Edinburgh and Dubai from 1st October 2018. Edinburgh will become Emirates’ second destination in Scotland after Glasgow and its 8th in the United Kingdom. The new service will be operated by an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER in a three class cabin configuration, with 8 private suites in First Class, 42 lie flat seats in Business Class and 304 spacious seats in Economy Class.
New Stanstead route launch
On 8th June 2018, Emirates launched a new daily route from Dubai (DXB) to London Stansted (STN). With its strategic position close to the tech and pharma hubs of Cambridge and Peterborough, Emirates will be the first Middle Eastern airline to operate out of the popular North East London airport. The daily route will be operated by the airline’s new three-class Boeing 777-300ER offering customers 6 seats in First Class, 42 in Business Class and 306 in Economy Class. The aircraft is fitted with its game changing, fully enclosed private suites in First Class, as well as refreshed Business and Economy Class cabins.
Enjoy convenient access to the FlyDubai network. Easily connect to FlyDubai destinations via the Emirates route network. With their codeshare partnership, Emirates are able to offer passengers over 250 different destinations across a shared network.
For passengers travelling from an Emirates destination and connecting onto FlyDubai, baggage will be checked through to the final destination. Passengers will also receive a boarding pass for their connecting FlyDubai flight.
Emirates baggage allowances and charges (where applicable) will apply for the full journey on codeshare itineraries (including if the first sector is on FlyDubai). Emirates Skywards Platinum, Gold and Silver baggage allowances are applicable on FlyDubai flights.
