We’ve achieved ISO 27001 accreditation for Information Security at Diversity Travel.
Auditors checked that we are following the necessary policies and procedures, and we are happy to say we are now certified! This accreditation joins our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards for quality and environmental management systems.
What does ISO 27001 accreditation mean?
As a company, we recognise the importance of information and data security and have policies, procedures and systems in place to protect this. These include:
- Clear Desk and Screen Policy – we don’t leave confidential information where unauthorised people could access it.
- Password Policy – our passwords are sufficiently complex, changed regularly, are not repeated across multiple systems or shared with others.
- Information Classification Policy – policies are in place to ensure the safe-handling of any information which is not intended for public view.
- Security Systems – including anti-virus software and firewall to protect against harmful malware and unauthorised access to our computers.
The auditors were very pleased with the implementation of this framework within Diversity Travel, noting that these policies are clearly evident in the office and a lot of effort has gone into maintaining them across the company.
We are proud to achieve our ISO 27001 status and that our clients can rest assured that with Diversity Travel, they are in safe hands.
