Meet one of our more recent team members, Rita Sebok! Find out about her role as Rail Consultant at Diversity Travel, her hopes for the future and her dream travel destination.
What does your role involve?
I’m a Rail Consultant, however, this title can be quite deceiving. As well as arranging train journeys, I also make bookings for taxis, coaches, car parking, airport transfers and hotels for our clients, wherever they may be travelling in the world!
What have you enjoyed most during your time at Diversity?
I love talking to our clients over the phone, especially when I can transform their stress into happiness!
How is it different from what you were doing before?
I used to work as a Reservations team member but I find my current role to be more of a challenge. There are various systems that I need to use on a daily basis, as well as many policies I need to check before confirming a booking. It will probably take some time before I know everything by memory, but I’m enjoying the challenge so far!
What are you looking forward to in the future?
My next goal is to find a position as a Supervisor or a Personal assistant. I want to keep improving my skills and find a position that fits my personality, but also challenges me. I don’t like to be bored at work.
What’s the best place you’ve travelled to and why?
Florida Disney World is the place where I belong! I like to be around happy, positive people – I do believe that your days start so much better when you see a smiling face instead of a grumpy one.
Where do you want to travel to the most and why?
Well, my dream is to visit every Disneyland around the world, so I’m trying to find a way to organise my travel to each of them, one by one. Why? Because Disneyland is the happiest place in the world and so far, my positive attitude makes me feel like I can do anything!
